In my more than twenty years as a freelance translator, fifty novels and non-fiction books have crossed my desk, as well as over 100 collector's magazines of series such as "Star Trek" and "Lord of the Rings", computer, board and role-playing games, and countless smaller projects. These range from texts for museums to the Asia chapters in the bestselling travel book "1000 Places to See Before You Die" and even the very first translation of Agatha Christie's Parker Pyne into German.
Although my specialty is fantasy and science fiction novels, as a historian and linguist I have a wide range of skills that allow me to work on a variety of content. From historical novels to crime thrillers, I am always ready to delve into new topics. But I also translate all kinds of documents outside of literature, be it for travel, culture, education or other fields. There is practically no subject I don't want to deal with.
Every new translation is a challenge, a pleasure, and your order will be treated with the utmost care to deliver outstanding quality.
Please note: I am not a sworn translator, so I cannot translate documents that relate to legal matters or that could result in legal proceedings.
