Luckily Rui is a very good photographer himself and a genuine bird lover. His commitment, dedication and genuine love for birds came out during my trip. He was tireless and was lot eager to get good photos for me. Even in hide he was right next to me, sharing IDs and pointing me to different birds. He not only knows bird behaviour, field craft, but also knows best angles and lighting that make for good photos. Everyday we ventured out early in the morning and came back by late evening in his vehicle. His energy when sighting bird is amazing but in the excitement also he makes sure right way to approach bird.
Am very happy with overall trip and got very good photos. Can’t thank Rui enough for great memories. I have no hesitation in recommending him for birding in Portugal.
