Sailing Tours Around Cala d'Or, Mallorca

We sailed with Nigel and Juan during our stay in Palma in July 2022. Vita Bel is a very special, beautiful boat. We were lucky weather-wise, it was sunny with a bit of a wind, so managed to get the sails up which was an amazing experience. We stopped in a nice bay for a swim and later in the evening in a quiet stunning cove for a bit of snorkelling while our dinner was being cooked! Nigel was super friendly and attentive and we immediately felt very comfortable in his company. Excellent food - barbequed langoustines and melon with parma ham to start, followed by fresh fish or steak cooked to perfection with dauphinoise potatoes, plentiful cava and good wine - a fine dining experience on a beautiful boat watching the sunset. Highlight of the holiday, our children (11 and 9) still talk about it, we hope to sail again when we visit Palma next.

What an amazing Sunset Dinner Cruise for our group of 12! Captain Nigel and his First Mate Juan were fun, informative, professional and the perfect hosts. The food and wine was plentiful and delicious. The boat herself is a thing of beauty. Our coordinator Sonia helped us put it all together along with transportation. Absolutely fantastic 3-hour private charter for a friend’s 50th birthday. Nigel and Juan were fabulous hosts on board the most beautiful boat. We were blessed with wall-to-wall sunshine in early October but not quite enough wind to go properly under sail, but that didn’t detract from what was just the most wonderful way to spend a few hours exploring the coastline, going for a dip in surprisingly warm sea and making the most of the SUP and snorkel equipment that was available to us. We had some really lovely tapas for lunch and the amazingly helpful Sonia in the office arranged a delicious personalised birthday cake as well. Expectations were high after reading all the great reviews but honestly it was even better than I had hoped for - if you are lucky enough to find yourself in Cala d’Or don’t hesitate to book a trip on board the Vita Bel!

First of all I really want to thank Nigel and Juan for the great trip! It was a great day - best weather, a really sweet sailing boat and an extraordinary(!!!) delicious dinner! I'm a vegetarian and despite we booked in a hurry (same day of the trip) I had a really great dinner - I am very grateful for that and didn't expect it :-) But the best - I tell you guys - is actual the heartwarming atmosphere on the boat created by Nigel with a great eye for details and his passion for sailing and food! Highly recommended!

One of the most memorable moments in my life. Standing next to my best friend, on the deck of this beautiful yacht, as he vows fidelity to his new wife. Surrounded by the cristal clear waters of the Mediterranean, and the cliffs of Majorca’s coast, there is nothing more pure as a feeling. Thanks to Nigel and the rest of the crew, this small intimate ceremony remained the highlight of a weekend dedicated to love and friendship. The food was excellent, the drinks were fresh and the charter overall was close to perfection. I would definitely recommend the services of Vita Bel’s charters. Would it be for the celebration of another sacred union or the casual laidback afternoon at seas, I’m already daydreaming of Vita Bel’s sails catching up the wind.

Since my wife and I have chosen our holiday home here in Mallorca Cala d'Or and we often hang out in the marina, we became aware of the Vita Bel and I quickly realized that we would choose my highlight for my 60th birthday .
Last weekend it was time, with my family and friends we set sail with skipper Nigel and crew and enjoyed the sailing turn.
Delicious food on board even with birthday cake topped off the beautiful day and late night everyone was impressed and will remember this adventure for a long time.
It was well organized by Sonia, so I would like to thank the Vita Bel team and we can only recommend this experience.

We booked a day sail on Vita Bel to celebrate our honeymoon, and we are so glad that we did! Nigel and Juan truly made our experience incredible. The boat was beautiful, the locations we sailed to were stunning, and the meals were truly exceptional! We couldn’t recommend Vita Bel more, and will always remember that special day!

Myself and my boyfriend took the day trip on our last day of our weeks holiday in Cal d'or. I cannot recommend this trip enough. Nigel and Juan were so lovely and accommodating. The boat and sailing was beautiful and the lunch spot & food was amazing. All really fresh and lovely selection of wines. Best way to end the holiday and great value for money - thanks to both :) We also took the trip with 5 other people so don't be afraid to join if you are a couple as it was great fun and nice to meet new people!
