Tour description: At the beginning you will be picked up comfortably by us directly in front of your accommodation before we take you to the starting point of the hiking tour in our air-conditioned minivans. We keep the group sizes small and have different hiking routes in our program to give you the maximum vacation experience. The small town of "Alaró" lies in the middle of a green valley full of olive groves and almond plantations. Its striking landmark is the "Castell d'Alaró", which can be seen from afar. This is the starting point for one of Mallorca's most famous hiking tours and the perfect route for anyone who wants to fully enjoy the beauty of Mallorca with all its history. The circular hiking trail is easy to climb and well paved. Even on the winding approach, you can get an idea of the fantastic views that await you later on.

The starting point of our hike is the finca "Es Verger", which has evolved over time from a mule stable to an inn and is legendary for its simple cuisine, Mallorcan soups and lamb dishes. From there, the route continues through holm oaks and pines on a clearly recognizable path towards "Castell d'Alaró". As you climb the old stone steps and pass through the gates carved into the rock, it is easy to understand why this place, so steeped in history, was once considered practically impregnable. The mountain fortress, which was converted into a castle by the Romans, was first mentioned in a document in 902 AD when it withstood the Saracens for over 8 years during their conquest of Mallorca.

When you finally arrive, the view is spectacular. Not only can you admire the mountains of the Tramuntana, but you can also see the bay of Palma with its harbor and ships, as well as the fertile plains of the center of the island, the "Es Pla" of Mallorca.
